Sailing area Kyrkesund and Härön

The fishing village of Kyrkesund is located on the narrow sound between the islands of Härön and Tjörn. The now clear, cool morning light made the colourful facades of the houses glow even more intensely. Like proud swans, yachts with white sails passed through the sound, contrasting with the deep blue of the sea and sky.

The ferry takes you to Härön in just a few minutes, where you can experience seclusion and hike through the natural landscape of an archipelago island on the west coast of Sweden: smooth-polished granite rocks, lakes and marshes, pastures and settlements with colourful Swedish houses. However, we skipped this tour as we wanted to stop at the Sundsby Säteri farm with its café and craft shop on the way to the island of Orust and walk to the Solklinten viewpoint in the Sundsby Nature Park.
