Munich Sights
The “Munich Sights” series includes works created in the great city on my doorstep.
The architectural and stylistic richness of modern and historic buildings creates rhythms and patterns. The purpose, as well as the mood and feeling of the place at the time the photos were taken, also creates a connection on a temporal and observational level – the collage of the Allianz Arena combines shots from the 2013 championship celebrations to the latest photos in 2023, when FC Bayern won their 10th consecutive championship. I want to condense or accentuate brands or landmarks in an individual context by joining photos from different perspectives into a multi-perspective composition.
