Sweden Photo Gallery

Like ‘Seacrow Island’ and following in the footsteps of Inspector Wallander – inspired by the literature of A. Lindgren and H. Mankell, I travelled to Sweden in summer 2015 with my family and dog. We went to the Scanian coast in the very south, near Ystad, and to the island of Yxlan in the archipelago, the skerries off the coast of Stockholm. What initially sounded like mass tourism and clichés – red houses, green forests, deep blue sea – turned out to be a relaxed, often solitary stay with interesting encounters and conversations, impressive landscapes, and cultural sights.
