The nearby country of Austria always draws me back, especially the nature of its mountains for hiking or skiing, starting with the Lechtal Alps, Wetterstein Mountains, Karwendel Mountains, Stubai Valley, Rätikon, Rofan, etc. But beyond that, there’s so much more to discover – people and culture, cities and history, such as in Salzburg, Vienna, Bregenz, etc.
