France, 1994 – present
La Grande Nation – the country proudly presents its regions and magnificent cultural landscapes – just think of the wine – impressive cities shaped by a turbulent history, the rugged mountain world and, of course, France’s coasts; place names like Côte d’Azur, Savoy, Provence, Brittany, Burgundy, Bordeaux, the châteaux of the Loire Valley, Paris – the list could go on and on – ignite a sense of wanderlust.
Côte d’Azur sounds like palm trees, glamorous seaside resorts, art and culture, fine beaches, but also jet-set hustle and bustle, shopping, bars and nightlife, traffic jams and crowded beaches in summer. Savoy conjures up images of Lake Annecy and the high alpine mountain world featuring Mont Blanc. This diversity is what makes France so charming.
