Spain Photo Gallery
I only discovered Spain late in my travels, apart from a few short stays in Mallorca or Andalusia.
Just across the border, Cadaqués on Cap de Creus offers the first cultural and scenic highlight: Dalí’s home and inspiration for many other artists, a rocky cape as the easternmost point of the Iberian mainland, and a starting point for long-distance hikes across the Pyrenees to the Atlantic.
There is still an unimaginable amount to discover: on the islands and in the mountains, along the coasts and in the cities. Landscapes full of history yet connected to modernity – in architecture, music or painting. A delight too, is the local cuisine, far more than just wine and tapas.
