Rain and storms at Saltvik’s Camping
A rainy evening at Saltvik campsite on the west coast of Sweden. This time, it turned into a test for our second-hand Outwell Caroline tent, as a strong wind required the accurate pegging out of all the guy lines. Inside the tent it was dry and cosy, outside it was miserable. Nevertheless, you have to go out occasionally and run quickly to the washblock.
On the way there, I suddenly saw a face with a dog out of the corner of my eye, dimly hidden behind the streaks and showers of rain. It felt spooky to me and initially reminded me of Chucky – the killer doll. At second glance, the face turned out to be (quite literally) just a blonde boy.
