A Typical Morning in Rush Hour
A typical morning in Munich’s rush hour traffic. The usual jams stretch from the outskirts towards the city centre, for example, on the A9 to the Mittlerer Ring, as well as on alternative routes via various federal roads. Although for these routes, the term “rat runs” would be more fitting. Patience and composure are advantageous, although many drivers are becoming increasingly aggressive.

In doing so, it even forced a driver on the main carriageway to swerve right onto the opposing lane to avoid a collision. When the van then merged back in front of the box van and had to stop several times in the crawling traffic, the driver of the box van angrily got out and approached the driver’s door of the vehicle in front of him, gesticulating wildly. I wondered if he was going to fight the other driver? At that moment, the convoy of vehicles moved on again, and the man was left standing alone in the road, blocking traffic…
