Winter is Coming
Winter is coming, and at the end of November, it shows its face with the first significant snowfall, even here in the lowlands. Large white flakes quickly form a continuous blanket of snow. Our dog absolutely loves it; he sniffs every animal footprint – and we have many dogs and cats in the neighbourhood. This way, we don’t really make much progress, and the walk takes longer once again.
This gives me time to experiment with flash and long exposure. I want to find the optimal settings to create interesting light effects with snowflakes while simultaneously illuminating the subject with ambient light, especially from the lamps. As they say, practice makes perfect.
