View of the Grand Canal from the Accademia Bridge

Late in the evening, I walk through Venice in the mild spring air, past the Riva dei Schiavoni and Piazza San Marco to the Accademia Bridge. From there, I enjoy what is arguably the best view over the bend of the Grand Canal and the church of Santa Maria della Salute. On this full moon night, I will experience the canals, alleys and squares of Venice in an even more intense atmosphere than by daylight.
