Full Moon Night in Venice

Gondolas at St Mark's Piazzetta in front of San Giorgio at night

A walk through Venice on a full moon night is a special experience. The silver moonlight eerily illuminates the often dimly lit paths through narrow alleys in secluded districts, over canals and across the campi – evoking chilling memories of the sinister events from the film “DON’T LOOK NOW”. On the now almost deserted squares and at the sights, e.g., the view of the Grand Canal from the Accademia Bridge, you now have more space to breathe in the atmosphere of this unique city.
