Sunrise at Württemberger Haus

The time before sunrise is one of the most beautiful parts of the day – the cool freshness of the summer night and a peaceful silence still hang over the Württemberger Haus. Soon, the Schiefer-, Großberg- and Spiessrutenspitze peaks will glow in the twilight. This ensemble marks the first stage of today’s planned traverse to Memminger Hütte, ascending through the scree field and rocky terrain to the Großbergspitze (centre of the image).
