Christmas Market at Dresden’s Neumarkt
Dresden, with its newly built historic ensemble around the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, the Semperoper and many other sights in the Old Town or Neustadt, is worth a trip at any time of year. After a visit in autumn, I also had the chance to experience Dresden as a city deep in snow during Advent and to visit the famous Striezelmarkt at the Altmarkt, the Christmas market at the Neumarkt around the Frauenkirche and the historic Christmas market in the Stallhof, which is a unique experience. You absolutely have to bring back some original Dresden Stollen from there!
