View from Elba to Corsica

After a short hike to the summit of Monte San Bartolomeo, which overlooks the village of Chiessi on the west coast of Elba, the view today extends all the way to Corsica. Ships can be seen in between, and I recall the enticing view from the ferry to Sardinia of Elba’s wild and rugged west coast, which at the time sparked the desire to travel here.
