Sunset at Sal Rei Pier

As the evening cool descends upon Cape Verde, I sit on a jetty enjoying the sea view. Around me, children splash about and the residents of Boa Vista’s main town, Sal Rei, stroll during the brief transition from the shimmering heat of the day to the dark night.
