This autumn, I took part in an expedition deep into the Bavarian heartlands, its culture, and its identity: to the Hofbräuhaus Munich. Well-equipped – with curiosity, humour, and a thirst – I took part in a guided tour of the Hofbräuhaus. I was, so to speak, a tourist in my own city.
