Buying a Car in Uckermark

15. May 2021/0 Comments/in Germany/by Matthias

Overnight stay with the roof tent by Lake Wolletz in Uckermark

Our beloved Sharan had transported our family across Europe for almost 20 years. Now, with a fault on the main board, it was no longer economical to repair. So, we were looking for a VW Up as a smaller successor, as we already used an Alhambra for camping. In the Munich area, prices for small cars were significantly higher than in northern and eastern Germany, so after detailed online research, we found a trustworthy private seller in Uckermark, Brandenburg. We took the upcoming vehicle inspection as an opportunity for a trip to this region, which was still unknown to us. Read more

City Walk Through Berlin

Tent-shaped roof architecture of the Tempodrom in Berlin

After a long time, I had the opportunity to visit Berlin for a weekend again. I was curious to see how the city had changed – it feels like Berlin has been a permanent construction site since the fall of the Wall. I started my tour on a sunny spring day at the Tempodrom, with its striking, tent-shaped roof structure. Read more
