Snowshoe Tour to Simetsberg

The strong March sun is already wonderfully warm, but on the slopes of the scenic Simetsberg in the Estergebirge, there is still a thick blanket of snow in many places, enough for a snowshoe or ski tour. At the nearby Walchensee, the café terraces are already well-filled with day-trippers, and many windsurfers are already out on the lake; some divers are also heading into the still ice-cold water at Urfeld.
