Perfect skiing fun on the Brauneck

The Brauneck is the family-friendly local mountain for Munich’s skiers and still possesses a cosy charm with several traditional – some might say “old-fashioned” – chairlifts such as the Finstermünz chairlift.

This leads up to a dreamlike Alpine panorama. On this frosty, clear, sunny day of skiing with great visibility, I can see from east to west the Blaubergkamm, the Guffert, the Brandenberg Alps, the Karwendel right across to the Wetterstein Mountains.
