FC Bayern Championship Celebration 2013

Geographically, it was a short trip, but interesting from both a sporting and ethnological perspective. FC Bayern are celebrating the end of an impressively dominant Bundesliga season in the sold-out Allianz Arena, packed with around 70,000 spectators. They secured a 3-0 victory over FC Augsburg in their final home game. Afterwards, the team is presented with the championship trophy in a magnificently staged show. The Bayern fans are enjoying it, cheering and celebrating wildly, while the Augsburg fans are less enthusiastic, as their last match is still about avoiding relegation.
