The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen

I’d describe my visit to ‘The Little Mermaid’, Copenhagen’s landmark, as a big disappointment. The statue is certainly remarkable as a work of art, but one tour group after another pushes forward to snap the obligatory proof photo. The walk back into the city, past the new Opera House, Amalienborg Palace and Nyhavn, is absolutely worth seeing. More pictures in the Denmark Gallery.
