Snowshoe tour up the Gulmen

The popular snowshoe and ski touring peak ‘Gulmen’ above Amden and Lake Walen offers a wonderful view of the lake, the Churfirsten mountains and the northern Glarnerland, dominated by the Mürtschenstock. This is a popular tour that can be started right from the doorstep of the Tscherwald Naturefriends House. Except for the final ascent to the summit, the path can also be managed with younger children; the open, gentle and avalanche-safe slopes are perfect for running around.
