Wellington, New Zealand’s capital

Besides its great location around the bay with the yacht and ferry harbour, New Zealand’s capital, Wellington, impresses with its atmospheric cafés, nightlife and cultural offerings. A tour of Parliament is just as worth seeing as the Te Papa National Museum. Mt Victoria offers a fascinating view of the city by day and night; although it’s nicknamed the ‘windy city’ due to its location in the Roaring Forties, it’s still well worth a longer stay.
