The Earth’s Rotation

The Earth’s rotation
carries me back into the light
of our home star: the Sun.

Rhythmic life of day and night,
light and shadow.
Cosmic cold and solar radiation,
turning away and turning towards,
Planetary carousel.

The universe expands
and breathes infinity.
A dance of uncertainty and wonder
before the incomprehensible miracle of being.
