Night Drive

The piercingly bright, blurred lights of the car’s cockpit and the road at night present a distorted image, mirroring the delayed perception and reaction times of someone intoxicated by alcohol. Yet, even during periods of great fatigue, when attention wanes and concentration falters, the perception of one’s surroundings and time seems to stretch out like a thread.
